Born and educated in South Africa
Starting out as art director in feature films, later moving into TV as an vision mixer/editor and finally in 80's was invited to direct. Since then I have directed countless Commercials, a number Video clips and various Documentaries
I am currently living in Portugal with my wife and two daughters.
After studying Creative Media Arts in Amsterdam, moved to London, and directed a number of films using different techniques such as 3D animation, motion control , motion capture or miniature models.
Worked for various companies including Smoke & Mirrors, The Picture Production Company, Th1ng and Fullsix and with clients such as Channel Five, Nokia, Carlsberg and Coca Cola. His work has been recognised with the award for Best music video at FEST in 2005 , the Best Visual Effects at ANIMEX in 2007 and most recently at ZON 2010 Awards.
Started as camera operator at one of the most recognized production companies in Portugal.
Moved to New York to study cinema and the world. His reel includes films for top brands, for both small agencies and big multinationals.
